El helicóptero del dueño del club inglés Leicester se estrelló cerca del estadio King Power minutos después de haber despegado del recinto deportivo y poco tiempo después de que finalizara el partido entre ese equipo y el West Ham que terminó con empate a uno.
Hasta ahora, no hay confirmación oficial de los tripulantes del vuelo, pero esta aeronave es utilizada con regularidad por el tailandes Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, dueño del equipo, y su familia.

Según los testigos, el helicóptero empezó a girar en espiral luego de salir del estadio y se estrelló contra el suelo y explotó de inmediato.
