Se jugaba el tiempo de reposición, el Valencia ganaba, 1-0, y parecía que el Madrid sumaría su tercera derrota en La Liga.
Sin embargo, Courtois se fue al área contraria, en un tiro de esquina, para buscar el gol de la igualdad.
