Los MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) se realizaron en Los Ángeles bajo la conducción de la cantante Katy Perry. La ceremonia llenó la noche de este domingo con música, baile y mensajes positivos.

La edición 2017 de los VMA contó con la presentación en vivo de Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Fifth Harmony, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Shawn Mendes, Logic, Khalid, Gucci Mane, Post Malone, Julia Michaels y Katy Perry. También cantaron Demi Lovato y el grupo DNCE.

Pero la mejor de la noche fue P!nk con la presentación de sus mejores temas y su nueva canción, What About Us. Además, la cantante recibió el premio "Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award!".
Por su parte, el grupo de Jared Leto dio una presentación usando sensores de calor, un espectáculo nunca antes visto.
Taylor Swift, quien no lanzaba un álbum desde 2014, estrenó en la ceremonia el video oficial de Look What You Made Me Do.
