La revista People publicó una noticia sobre la autoría de Taylor sobre la canción “This is What You Came For”, que el DJ escocés Calvin Harris estrenó junto a Rihanna. Harris lanzó una serie de tweets criticando a su expareja.
La pareja terminó con una relación de 15 meses en medio de acusaciones por una supuesta infidelidad de la cantante, Calvin Harris criticó a Swift por atribuirse la escritura de uno de los últimos hits del DJ en colaboración con Rihanna.
La revista People publicó el martes que Swift habría escrito el tema, bajo el seudónimo de Nils Sjoberg, la canción "This is What You Came For”.
De inmediato el DJ y productor escocés le respondió en Twitter y dijo: “es doloroso que ella y su equipo fueran tan lejos".

Harris incluso reconoció que su ex pareja había participado con voces en la grabación y que había escrito la letra "tan bien como siempre".

Este tweet provocó también la reacción de la cantante Katy Perry, con quien Taylor Swift mantiene una pelea que la llevó, incluso, a escribir la canción "Bad Blood".
Perry tuiteó una imagen animada de la candidata demócrata a la presidencia de los Estados Unidos, Hillary Clinton y un mensaje: "El tiempo, el último que dice la verdad".
